The son of moderately-successful port authority managers on Ojom, Zork Atlan’s Force sensitivity did not manifest physically until later in his childhood during an otherwise irrelevant snowball fight with others his age. The eight-year-old’s ability to dodge or deflect incoming ice was noticed by a spacer associate of Zork’s parents who suggested he be tested. In a whirlwind month, Zork was tested, separated from his family, and brought to the Imperial Knight training facility on Bastion.

Zork’s thoughtful and contemplative nature is often dispelled by his terse and brusque manner of delivery. Though he has a talent for delivering violence, and often plays the heavy in physical altercations, Zork’s preference is towards reading and research. His chivalrous nature is brought on not by respect of females of the species, but memories of a Besalisk female he was once very close to, and unbeknownst to Zork, was betrothed to at a young age.

Knight Atlan will tell anyone who asks of how proud he is to be an Imperial Knight and his favorite memories are of accomplishments during training, but underneath it all is a boy who longs for the ice and snow of his homeworld.
